Windows 10 could be a blockbuster for Microsoft: 73 percent of businesses plan upgrades

Business customers are waiting in line for Microsoft’s (Nasdaq: MSFT) upcoming Windows 10 release, and could help propel the software launch to one of the company’s biggest hits in decades — at least that’s the takeaway from a recent study by IT industry network Spiceworks.

If the IT professionals who responded to the survey paint an accurate picture, the firm calculated Windows 10 will claim a 17 percent market share within two years of its release, up from the 14.4 percent Windows 7 claimed.
